We hired Frank and his team for a gut renovation of a 2 bed 2 bath co-op in Manhattan in the fall of 2023, and we are very happy with the results! Frank and Mike are incredibly responsive and the efforts that they put in to make sure that the job is done correctly are exceptional. The process to get building approvals and permits, with architectural renderings, was seamless - this is my second renovation in Manhattan and I know how brutal the permit process can be, so hiring a team who can make this easy is essential. As with any reno, there were some hiccups along the way, but I deeply appreciated that Frank immediately acted to address the issues - truly six stars for effort! The reno itself is of high quality - a shout out to the electrician and the tiler for their excellent work (I used Moroccan zellige and cement tiles and they are beautifully done). I highly recommend Frank and his team.

This firm is a family-run business that treats their clients like they are part of the family. They possess that combination of excellent craftsmanship and empathy—they care about the work and making sure you’re happy with it. They’re also honest and great communicators. They did an excellent job with a lot of different aspects (painting, tiling, electric installation). Total bathroom renovation - they nailed every part. Very communicative and upfront with costs, issues, etc. Our bathroom looks great. I will use them for our next project as well!

I had interviewed a few contractors. Some came and pointed to all the problems that could arise renovating in an old tenement, leaving me with the thought that I was biting off more than I could chew. But this firm said it could be done. It was on time on budget and I was always kept informed of changes that took place. Workers were clean and respectful not only of my home but also took into consideration how it would affect my neighbors. All ordering and delivery of materials were handled by the GC and I never had to be at home for deliveries. Very important factor when one has to work. Everything documented in a timely and thorough fashion as work was completed, itemized and payment plan easy. It was a far stretch from old haphazard tenement construction to vintage New York spa proof enough that if this contractor can transform this old house, they are more that capable to handle any project! I highly recommend this firm for making your home vision a reality.

From our first meeting Frank’s professionalism stood out, answering our many questions, working collaboratively to get within our budget. Our project included a gut of the kitchen, a gut of a full bathroom & refinishing the rest of the house. The Woodbury team ensured the big things were done right & would hold up for decades to come. E.g. Larger than anticipated columns were brought in to ensure the vibrations from the nearby train wouldn’t cause issues down the road. When a boiler issue was uncovered, the team invested a significant time to get it working. Frank was extremely reasonable with change orders, nearly all due to decisions we made. They take pride in their work & will put in major effort to make sure things work right. As with all large projects, we did run into some hiccups, but Frank was always provided us with options on paths forward & did what was right to accommodate us. Working with Woodbury was great and I would absolutely consider them again.

This GC completed a gut renovation of a 100 year old house in the Morris Park section of the Bronx. I was reluctant at first to take on such a big project but I knew the house had great potential. I cant say better things about Frank (owner) and his team of guys. Frank has integrity which is always the biggest concern when dealing with contractors for a large project. Sure, we encountered problems/surprises along the way because of the scope of the project but each time something “came up” it was handled fairly and professionally. Great job team - we are thrilled with our brand new house. It is beautiful. Thanks for everything Frank and Mike.

We waited more than a decade to do our kitchen renovation for various reasons. We wanted a “dream” kitchen that incorporates our family’s needs and this involved creating a larger space and knocking down walls. We interviewed more than seven contractors and finally chose Frank. We liked his honest, thoughtful style where he would work through ideas and issues with us. We had a few bumps along the way (fairly minor) but Frank and Mike always addressed things quickly and respectfully. We are thrilled with the quality of the work and attention to detail throughout. I highly recommend working with this firm.

Frank and his team are friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. They focus on the planning so that once the work begins everyone is on the same page. Frank wisely suggested I provide him with visual examples whenever possible so that the work would align with my design vision, and it worked out great. The team's responsiveness is second to none. Frank is literally available 24/7. His office assistant, Mike, is also prompt and always helpful. The head of the on-site crew, also a Mike, was a pleasure to work with from start to finish. He took time at the end of every day to give me a detailed report of the work that was done and what the rest of the week would look like. Finally, Frank's cabinet sub-contractor, Mario, is a talented individual who always seemed to instinctively understand what I was asking for, and did a beautiful job on my cabinets. My new kitchen and laundry room are beautiful!

Frank and the whole team were absolutely amazing during the renovation process; we couldn't have asked for a more professional and dedicated team. We bought a pre-war apartment which was in rough shape and wanted to gut the kitchen and both bathrooms, redo the walls, floors, etc. We had a very specific vision of what we wanted and spent almost two years planning, so clearly we were pretty demanding. Despite all that Frank and team delivered in spades and the results came out immaculate. Frank able to reproduce everything in our detailed plans and whenever we had unanticipated issues he went above and beyond to make sure we ended up with something which was better than we were expecting. This included reproducing detailed original floor trim perfectly, saving a vanity we might have lost otherwise by coming up with a wall-hung toilet solution, traveling over 700 miles collecting tile trim so our tile trim matched and perfectly rebuilding the window sills.

They are a great company . They were always on time and very responsive. Frank and his team really worked diligently to make sure all our needs were met. They really care about their work and reputation. I would highly recommend them to anyone who is looking to renovate .

Frank and his team were absolutely incredible throughout the entire process of renovating our home! (In fact, we have already recommended them to our friends who are renovating their kitchen.) We purchased our home in December and met with various contractors in January. Frank immediately stood out from the pack with his careful listening, detailed notes, and fantastic suggestions. He provided an incredibly detailed estimate and communicated well throughout. He was even able to amend the plans when we suddenly had to move into the house. We love our new basement, two new bathrooms, and new bedroom closet!

My wife and I planned to renovate a modest co-op in Queens. We interviewed four separate contractors, and eventually selected Fotios (Frank). Frank and his office manager (Mike) handled all aspects of an Alt-2 type renovation. Both Frank and Mike worked with our plans, our co-op's management company, and our co-op's Board of Directors. Frank and Mike answered our questions, advised when necessary, and were always available. The job foreman has a set of skills that any contractor would die for. The contract that they created took into account what we wanted to do (which in our case was to provide some supplies, parts, and appliances), so we knew and they knew who was doing what. And in the few instances where plans went astray, the GC provided my wife and me with reasonable alternatives. So if you want competence, clarity, reasonable pricing, guidance for your project, I can't recommend them (Frank and Mike) enough.

From the beginning, Frank and his team was very responsive to my questions and concerns. I designed and picked out the materials for the job. Along the way, Frank and his team did a good job taking in my comments and executing on how I wanted things. If something needed to be fixed, they fixed it. Frank and his team are good guys who want the client to be happy - which I appreciate. In the end, we are very satisfied with the results and are happily enjoying our new bathroom, closets and other maximized spaces.

Frank and his team of top-notch professionals demonstrated great attention to detail, dedication and transparency throughout the course of the project. We did a full-scope renovation with major apartment design changes and found this team very accommodating and an overall pleasure to work with. They were very accommodating with our design requests, and where we had questions or ran out of ideas, Frank and his team hit it home with great design and finish elements and solid execution. We’re confident that we made the right investment and that our home will stay in great shape for years to come. We purchased a co-op in a six-story ’30s building in Sunnyside, Queens, and hired Frank after a lengthy contractor selection process. We were even more relieved as it became clear that Frank had dealt with co-ops like ours before. Building rules, dealing with the super and all those other intangibles were taken in stride by him and his team. What a luxury. As with any GC and overall renovation, there were moments of frustration with subcontractors but again Frank and the team were always a step ahead and very accommodating. The project was well-organized and they were always attentive and transparent with communications. Bottom line, Frank is a craftsman and we feel like it really showed in the finished product. We would happily recommend his services, and have already done so with close friends and neighbors.
